If you love Great
Britain you probably heard that they have good tea, bad weather and some good
cars. Oh yes, good cars. One name stand out, that’s of course Aston Martin. Company Aston Martin Lagonda Limited (their full name) in their long history had one big problem, money. In the first century they went bankrupt seven times. But luckily, they survived.
Ako volite Veliku Britaniju, verovatno ste čuli da oni imaju dobar čaj, loše vreme i neke dobre automobile. Ah da, dobre automobile. Jedno ime se ističe, i to je naravno Aston Martin. Kompanija Aston Martin Lagonda Limited (njihovo kompletno ime), je u svojoj dugoj istoriji imala jedan veliki problem, a to je novac. I prvom veku postojanja, oni su imali sedam
bakropta. Ali srećom, preživeli su.
In 1991
Ford bought Aston Martin and in 2003 they introduced “the collest car on the
planet,the DB9”. (“DB” was actually a man’s name, It stands for David Brown, a
machine manufacturer and driver who bought Aston in the 1940.). Although it
succeeded the DB7, Aston Martin did not call the car the DB8 due to fears that
the name would suggest that the car was equipped with only a V8 engine (the DB9 has a V12) They took
engine from Vanquish.
1991
Ford je kupio Aston Martin i 2003 su svetu predstavili, “naj cool auto na
svetu, DB9”.(“DB” je zapravo ime čovek koji spasio Aston Martin kupujući ga
1940). Iako je njegov predhodnik nazvan DB7, Aston Martin nije nazvao
naslednika DB9 zato što su se bojali da će ime asocirati da auto ima v8 motor (DB9
je imao V12). Taj motor su uzeli iz
Vanquish-a.
Aston Martin DB9 was of course “grand turismo” and when you make a GT
car in 2003 you want to compete with
Gallardo, Ferrari F430, Ford Gt,
Porshe 911, Corvette CS6. For that you need realy fast car. In 2005 Aston
Martin and Prodrive made DBR9. The name DBR9 is
derived from the original 24 Hours of Le Mans-winning DBR1 car. The DBR9 retains the chassis, engine block, and cylinder heads of the road car's V12 engine. The rest of the car is re-engineered for high performance competition
use.

Body was made of carbon fibre, and the DBR9 was 700 kg
lighter than DB9. The engine modifications allow the car to develop 625 hp,
that power in addition to the lost weight, allows the DBR9 can go from 0 to one 100
km/h (60 mph) in 3.4 seconds. The DBR9 won the Sebring 12 Hours for its LMGT1 category in 2005, but came third in Le Mans 24 Hour behind arch-rivals Corvette Racing due to fuel problems. They won on Le Mans in 2007, 2008,2014 and 2017.

napravljena od ugljeničih vlakana, i DBR9 je bio 700 kila lakši od fabričkog
DB9. Modifikacije na motoru dozvolile da DBR9 razvije 625 konja, i to mu je
omogućilo da u kombinaciji sa manjom težinom stiže do stotke za 3.4 sekunde.
DBR9 je 2005 pobedio na 12 sati Sebring-a u svojoj LMGT1 kategorije ali prošao
kao treći na legendarnoj Le Man trci iza Korvete zbog problema sa gorivom. Oni
su ipak pobedili na Le Manu 2007, 2008m 2014 i 2017.

green color, and then details. There are
a lots of details. You can see real holes on side, real holes on hood and part
of engine, there are a calipers on tires, litle decails on calipers. You can
see that, only with loupe. Tires are
spining. Wipers are thin. Decals are just great, and all is there. It’s good to
mentioned that Ixo sponsored this car.
Prvo vidite prelepu zelenu boju, onda detalje. A ovaj model ima mnogo detalja. Detalji aero dinamike, prave rupe na staklu, prave rupe na haubi, delovi motora, kočiona klešta na diskovima, male nalepnice na kleštima. Ovo možete videti jedino sa lupom. Točkovi se okreću. I can easly tell that this car is one of the best car in my collection, when comes to details, I have, Minichamps, HPI, Onyx and others.
